# Welcome

**Overview**

The YEET Asset Treasury (YAT) is a fully on-chain DAT designed to act as a catalyst for YEET and create sustained buy pressure. The treasury will be seeded with YEET acquired at a discount and matching BERA contributions, establishing a high MNAV from inception. In exchange for initial contributions, YAT will issue shYEET to represent ownership of its treasury.

**Genesis**

YAT will be seeded by locked YEET holders contributing tokens at a discount, matched with BERA from them and private investors. This ensures a strong YEET & BERA base, low cost basis, and high MNAV from day one.

YAT gives contributors discounted YEET exposure via a growing treasury, liquid shYEET tokens tradable on secondary markets, periodic redemption windows, and a system designed to build buy pressure and increase MNAV.
